A. Central Government job:

All jobs that are given by the central government of India are called central government jobs. It consists of jobs like IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS, Jobs in different ministries like Defence ministry jobs, health ministry jobs, education ministry jobs, and Railway jobs. All of these jobs are high-paying and reputed jobs.

B. State Government Job:

If a job is being given by any state government then it is considered a state government job. It consists of jobs from State public service commissions like SDM, SDO, Inspector in Police Departments, Police Constable job, job exams conducted by state SSC, MTS jobs & more.

Apart from these two, there is a third type of job that the government provides but it is on a contract basis and also known as a “contractual job” or “contract basis job”.   

C. Contract basis Job:

It is a type of job that is not permanent and the salary is also low. Many time government needs employees for short-term project or want to cut its expense on salary so it hires candidates on a contract basis. These jobs are mainly computer operator jobs for data entry in hospitals, schools, record rooms, etc.
